Our matcha is sourced directly from a family-owned farm in Kagoshima, Japan, where the craft of cultivation has been passed down for generations.
Grown under 4–5 weeks of natural shade, the leaves are carefully nurtured to develop their vibrant green colour and deep umami flavour. After harvest, they're stone-milled into an ultra-fine powder, preserving the delicate taste and smooth texture matcha lovers seek.
This meticulous process ensures that every batch is crafted with care and attention to detail. Whether you're whisking a traditional ceremonial bowl, preparing a creamy latte, or baking matcha-infused treats, our matcha is made for any moment where quality matters.
Our bamboo whisk (chasen) is expertly crafted with 80 hand-carved prongs for the perfect matcha preparation. Used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, it blends matcha powder, water, and air to create a silky, frothy texture, enhancing the aroma and flavour for a smooth, creamy cup every time.
Our handmade bamboo chashaku measures the perfect amount of matcha ensuring smooth, accurate portions. Use 2-3 scoops for a standard serving.
